Employee communications

It's essential to keep in touch with you pension scheme members, so they fully understand and value the benefits
of your scheme.

One of the stipulations of the Pensions Act 2004 is that you must regularly issue Summary Funding Statements (SFS) to all members. It's part of an increased emphasis for trustees to communicate regularly with members and to provide information they can understand. Failure to do this, could result in serious sanctions from the Pension Regulator.

Click here for an example of an SFS. As you'll see, it provides a lot of information about the scheme's financial position and invites members to ask for more information.

We'll help you communicate a positive message to your members and make sure they understand the benefits you provide are well understood. We can:

  • Design announcements, newsletters and other communications.
  • Conduct group presentations to explain your pension scheme.
  • Provide individual counselling to members if required.
  • Offer a pension scheme helpline service.

We'll be pleased to quote for communication services that are individually tailored to your needs. Please contact Gerry Baker on 01483 205890 for an initial chat or email him on gbaker@bg-webts.com
